Connect Wrike to ChatGPT

Wrike is available directly in ChatGPT. Install the official Wrike plugin, connect your Wrike account, and manage work in Wrike without leaving ChatGPT.

For the standard setup, you do not need to configure an MCP server, create a Wrike OAuth app, or provide OAuth credentials manually.

Prerequisites

A Wrike account
A ChatGPT account with access to plugins or apps
For managed ChatGPT workspaces, your workspace administrator may need to make Wrike available first

Personal accounts

Open the Wrike listing in the ChatGPT Plugins directory.
Click Install plugin.
If prompted, click Connect for the Wrike app.
Sign in to your Wrike account and authorize access.
Start a new ChatGPT conversation and use Wrike.

You can try prompts such as:

"What tasks are assigned to me this week?"
"Show me my overdue Wrike tasks."
"Create a Wrike project from these meeting notes."
"What should I focus on this week based on my Wrike work?"

When supported in your ChatGPT interface, you can explicitly invoke Wrike by mentioning @Wrike.

Managed ChatGPT workspaces

A workspace administrator may need to make Wrike available before members can install or use it.

Administrator setup

Open Workspace settings > Plugins.
Find Wrike.
Review the Wrike plugin and its included Wrike app.
Set the appropriate installation policy for your workspace or eligible roles.
Make sure the Wrike app is enabled for the users who should have access.
Configure the available Wrike actions and approval requirements according to your organization's policies.

User setup

Once Wrike is available in your workspace:

Open Plugins or Apps, depending on the interface available to your account.
Find Wrike.
Install the plugin if required.
Click Connect.
Sign in to Wrike and authorize access.

Permissions

Wrike permissions continue to apply when you use Wrike from ChatGPT.

ChatGPT can only access Wrike data and perform Wrike actions that the connected Wrike user is allowed to access or perform.

Workspace administrators can further restrict access to the Wrike app and supported actions from ChatGPT workspace settings.

Start using Wrike

Once connected, simply ask ChatGPT to work with Wrike.
