Setup ChatGPT with Wrike MCP
Set up Wrike MCP for ChatGPT Enterprise or a personal ChatGPT account, connect Wrike, and start using Wrike from ChatGPT.
Prerequisites
- Have access to a Wrike account.
- For a ChatGPT Enterprise workspace, sign in as the account owner of the ChatGPT Enterprise workspace.
- For a ChatGPT Personal account, go directly to Step 2: User setup.
Step 1: Account owner setup (one-time configuration)
Follow these steps to enable and configure the Wrike integration for your workspace if you use ChatGPT Enterprise:
- Navigate to Workspace Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Go to the Directory tab and search for Wrike. When you locate the Wrike app, click Enable.
- Click Configure to set up the connector for your workspace.
- Configure access by selecting which roles can access Wrike through Wrike MCP.
- Configure actions by selecting which actions are available. For future app updates, we recommend keeping the default value, Enable all new actions.
- Configure action confirmation by selecting which action types require confirmation.
- Click Publish to make the Wrike app available to all users in the workspace.
Step 2: User setup
Individual users can connect from their ChatGPT account by doing the following steps:
- Go to Apps.
- Locate Wrike. It will appear on the Enterprise Workspace tab.
- Click Connect. This starts the Wrike sign-in flow. Sign in to your Wrike account.
Step 3: Start using Wrike
- Start using Wrike through ChatGPT. Try a prompt like "What spaces do I have access to?" or "What tasks are assigned to me?"
- To explicitly use the Wrike app, mention "Wrike" in your prompt. You can also click the attachment button, go to More, and select Wrike.
